He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar H. Smith, Sr. and Helen Savage Smith; his siblings, Julia Bell Wood, John Thomas Smith and Fusty Smith; and his grandson Dion Edward Smith.
He is survived by: his son Oscar H. Smith III; his fiancée Margaret Price of Princess Anne, MD; his grandchildren, Michael Smith, Julia Mitchell, Sydney Smith and Robert Smith; his great grandchildren, Lydia Smith Hubbard, Brian Smith Hubbard and Cameron Smith Hubbard; his cousin John Wayne Savage; his nephew Rodney Smith; and his nieces, Sheryl Allison and Jane Wood.
