He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Frederick Gibbs, Shannon (Dianne) and Marlena Pope; his grandchildren, Whitney Whitson and Alexis Pope; his mother Irene Diggs; and his siblings, Larry Diggs (Joyce), Milton Diggs (Jeannie), Alan Diggs (Laverne), Stella Diggs and Barbara Ann Diggs. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
