With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Earl Jones of Ivor, Virginia, born in Isle of Wight, Virginia, who passed away on July 23, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sara Rachel Jones; his parents, Robert H. Jones and Bertha L. Jones; and his sisters, Lucille J. Crocker, Ivea J. Logan, Nancy J. Cook and Bertha J. Beale.

He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Jones of Ivor, Milway Jones (Janice) of Ivor, Susie J. Poe of Richmond, Faye J. Drewery (Joe) of Elberon, Phyllis J. Bick (Frank) of Burwell's Bay and Jo J. Helmstetter of Onancock; and his children, Robert Theodore Jones of Ivor, David Earl Jones (Deborah) of Windsor, Janet Leah Jones of Ivor and Melissa Jones of Ivor. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
