He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard James Bean and Maggie Roberts Bean; his wife Betty Green Bean; his daughter Dana L. Bean; his siblings, Betty Joann Bean, Larry Allen Bean and Terry Lee Bean; and his grandson Josh Dunlow.
He is survived by: his son Brian I. Bean (Lisa) of Ivor; his brother Barry Alvin Bean of Lancaster, VA; his grandsons, Melvin Dunlow, Matthew Coggsdale, III, Scott Bean and Zachary Bean; and his great grandchildren, Kaden Dunlow and Maddyson Dunlow.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity.
