He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Linwood Jones and Minnie Virginia Bulls Jones; and his wife Lucille Gray Jones. He is survived by: his children, Barbara J. Hunter (Billy), Brenda J. Crofts (Jim), Wendy L. Sims (Carson) and Jack M. Jones, Jr.; his grandchildren, Tracy Boykin (Chase), Chase Jones (Lauren), Jack M. Jones, III (Katelyne) and Daniel Crofts; his great grandchildren, Collin, Waverly, Raelyne, Everly, Caleigh, Easton, Memphis and Blake; and his brothers, Ray Mac Jones and Randolph "Lucky" Jones.
