He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Leo Goodson, Sr. and Sandra Childress Goodson; and his hunting buddy Mick Lephew. He is survived by: his wife Sarah "Jane" Pickett Goodson; his children, Selinda (Jason "Skillet" Gregory), Brandi (Mark Bass), Donnie (T. J. Widner), Steve Widner of Dublin and Jason (Ashley Goodson); and his granddaughters, Jessica, Aimee, Aerianna, Addisyn and Kayla. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to his son, Donnie Widner to assist with expenses toward his kidney transplant operation.
