As Mary Charlene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary Charlene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary Charlene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Dalton and Beatrice Campbell Dalton; and her husband Roy Herron. She is survived by: her children, Ronda (Dwayne Evans), Frankie "Teany" (Gary "Tuffy" Lawson), Tracie LaTurno of Wytheville and Marty Herron of Olive Branch; and her stepchildren, Vernon Herron, Randy Herron, Clifton Dalton and Denise Dalton. She is also survived by Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (Ivanhoe, VA 24350).
