He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Early and Gettys Umberger Early; and his sisters, Mary Louise Esche and Caroline Leach. He is survived by: his wife Kay Early; his daughters, Elizabeth (Harry Waller), Jackie (Butch Alley) and Sarah Early (Michael Kenan) of Roanoke, VA; his grandchildren, Cynthia Mohr, Dottie Sparks and James H Alley; his stepgrandchildren, Anna Waller and Lane Kenan; his great grandchildren, Destiny, Dakoda, Danika and Logan; and his stepgrandchildren, Chris and Josh.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Forest United Methodist Church in Ivanhoe VA or to the Agape Food Pantry.
