He was predeceased by: his father Mayo Buxton Wells Sr.; his sister JoAnn Wells Epps; and his brother-in-law Joseph T. Epps. He is survived by: his brothers, Diney Wells (Sue) and Mayo Buxton Wells Jr. (Cindy); his brother-in-law Ray Luter (April); his mother Margaret Joyner Wells Gordon; his wife Dianne Luter Wells; his children, Crystal Wells Taylor (Matthew Taylor) and Michael Brandon Wells; and his grandchildren, Logan Caylee Jones, Tristan Gauge Taylor and Regan Harper Taylor. He is also survived by his six nieces and nephews.
