As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Walter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Harrison Rogers and Julia Pegram Walker Rogers; and his sister Marion Rogers Fast. He is survived by: his wife Sue Caroline Kirkpatrick Rogers; and his daughters, Margaret R. Hock (Charles) and Julia W. Rogers. He is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church (303 S Main St, Kilmarnock, VA 22482).
