With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Johnson of Irvington, Virginia, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 1, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Lee; his parents, Frank Johnson and Catherine Johnson; his former wife Lucille Rabl Johnson; his siblings, Bob Johnson (Jean), Marion Buege (George) and Marge Butula (Gus); his significant other Hazel Johnson (Woolard); his son Ron Johnson (Kathy); his stepchildren, Becky Davis (Thom) and Carlie Woolard (Noel); his grandchildren, Heather Garay (David), Brent Johnson (Stephanie), Paul Piccione (Angie), Nick Johnson (Fran), Jason Davis (Emily), Jonathan Davis, Lydia Jorden (Daniel), Taylor Woolard, Rachel Woolard, Lizzy Woolard and Joshua Woolard; and his great grandchildren, Sam Garay, Lizzy Garay, Lucille Johnson, Ryann Johnson, Theresa Piccione, June Piccione, Sophia Johnson, Brooklyn Davis and Isabella Davis. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family will hold a private service at Wesley Evangelical Presbyterian Church, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Lee's honor to Wesley Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 70 Faith Circle, Weems, VA 22576.
