It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Katherine Williams of Irvington, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 94, on April 18, 2021. She was predeceased by: her brother William H. Ryland; her stepson Dr. Howard Williams; and her grandson Timothy Kimball. She is survived by: her former husband Frederick W. Brune, Jr.; her husband Lee Williams; her children, Katherine Brune Kimball of West Lebanon and Frederick William Brune of Bellingham, Washington; her siblings, Paul and Joan Harris of Cashiers; and her stepchildren, Jenny Robinson, David Williams, Frances Butler of Centennial and Philip Williams of Irvington, Virginia. She is also survived by many grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Plans for a celebration-of-life gathering to be held at Historic Christ Church, near Irvington, Virginia are incomplete at this time because of the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Garrison Forest School, Owings Mills, Maryland, or The Steamboat Era Museum, Irvington, Virginia.
