It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica Phillips of Indian Valley, Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Widner Lewis; and her brother Robert David Lewis (Bob). She is survived by: her husband Eugene Phillips of Indian Valley; her sons, Christopher Todd King (Sammie) of Rural Retreat and Danny King (Stephanie) of Indian Valley; her stepchildren, Kevin Phillips (Kerri Hunley) of Hillsville and Crystal Phillips Casstevens (Josh Willard) of Booneville, NC; and her sister Martha Lewis of Conway, SC.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
