He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilly Clyde Holcomb and Charlie Paul Hash; his former wife Mary Frances Hash (Jackie); his daughter Claudette Hash Dixon; and his siblings, Frances Bourne, Alma Hash, June Byrd, Tuck and Wayne Hash.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche Holdaway Hash; his son Charlie (Danny); his children-in-law, Sharmane and Brent Dixon of Independence; his grandchildren, Meichelle Phipps (Mike) of Elk Creek, VA, Justin Dixon (Leighann) of Independence, VA and Candice Dixon of Mouth; his great grandchildren, Coy Walls, Dane Phipps, Dayton Dixon and Lydia Dixon; his stepson Lee Parks Mouth (Lisa) of Wilson, VA; his sisters, Wilma Hash and Helen Waller; his sister-in-law Catherine Hash; his caregiver Carlene Carico; and his close friend Ed Blevins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Reins~sturdivant Funeral Home (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
