She is survived by: her children, Walter Cox, Jr. (Shelia) of Independence, VA and Kathy Cox (David); her grandchildren, Karrie Baker, Joel, Alex Baker, Magan, Eliza Mallory, Kenneth and Dustin Cox; her great grandchildren, Terra, Amelia, Troy, Lexi, Piper, Lakyn, Colby and Talynn; and her sisters-in-law, Teddy Privett of Troutdale, VA and Virginia Cox of Independence, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reins~sturdivant Funeral Home (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
