He was predeceased by : his father Leon Sexton. He is survived by : his mother Mildred Bobbitt; his brother Jason Bryce Bobbitt; his aunts, Lockey Kirk of Independence, VA and Gardella Sexton of Independence, VA; his uncle Scott (Betty Sexton); and his cousins, Michelle Cody, Daniel Barrios, David Mack Sexton, Jane Sexton, Bobby Kirk, Michael Kirk, Teresa Jennings, Ellen Renegar, David Kirk, Daniel Kirk, Leslie Wolford and Lynne Lankford. He is also survived by extended family, co-workers, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Independence Rescue Squad at PO Box 217 Independence, VA 24348 or to the Carroll County Rescue Squad (address pending).
