He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Jean Smith; his brother Ford; his daughter Cherie Lynn Smith of Galax, VA; his brothers, Vern (Shirley Smith), Joe (Joyce Smith) and Tommy (Wanda Smith); his grandsons, Chance Robert, Kelsey Smith of Fries, VA, Nicholas and Da'Janie Smith of Galax, VA; and his great grandchildren, Mya Smith, Maddox Smith and Cameron Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
