He is survived by: his wife Mary McKnight; his children, David McKnight of Austin, Texas and Tammy Harmon of Galax, VA; his brother Joe Paul (Nancy McKnight); his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Mitchell Cornett of Independence, VA, Kristin Carmona of Independence, VA, Luke Harmon of Galax, VA, Pearce McKnight of Blacksburg, VA, Parker McKnight of Austin, Porter McKnight of Austin, Grier McKnight of Lake City, SC and Turner McKnight of Lake City, SC; and his great grandchildren, Jake Carmona and Fischer Carmona of Independence, VA. He is also survived by friends, and neighbors.
