It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Stewart Lee of Independence, Virginia, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Reeves and Margaret Reeves (Glory); her husband Guy Lee, Sr.; and her son Gregory Lee. She is survived by: her children, Guy Walter Lee Jr. (Georgia) of San Diego, CA, Gordon Lee of Independence, VA, Gerald, Jamie Lee of New Market, MD, Geanna Lee of Independence, VA and Glendoria Lee of Independence, VA; her daughter-in-law Denise Lee of Wytheville, VA; and her siblings, Nancy (Leonard Hash), Doris (Pete Phipps), Rita Reeves of Galax and Junior Reeves of Independence, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (307 Pleasant Grove Rd, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
