He was predeceased by: his father B. A. Rhudy, Jr. (Tar Heels). He is survived by: his wife Rev. Gloria Lancaster Rhudy; his brother Danny (Ann Rhudy) of Christiansburg, VA; his uncle Ted (Carol Matney) of Ashboro, NC; his sisters-in-law, Anna (Bobby Cox) of Independence and Cynthia Bates of Kingsport, TN; and his daughters, Jill (Steve Minor) of Bristol, VA, Pam Walker of York, SC, Gloriana Rhudy McCormack of Galax, VA and Claudia Rhudy of Wilson, NC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; numerous foster children and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348).
