We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2018, at the age of 59, Claudette Dixon (Independence, Virginia), born in Galax, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Carlie "Brent" Dixon of Independence; her father William "Buck" of Independence; her stepmother Blanche Hash of Independence; her children, Candice Dixon of Independence and Justin Dixon (Leigh Ann) of Independence; and her brother Charlie "Danny" Hash (Sharmane) of Independence.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Mrs. Dixon can be made at Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
