Bobby Charles Delp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Charles Delp of Independence, Virginia, who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harvey Delp Jr. and Imogene Roberts Delp; his wife Phyllis Ann Greer Delp; and his son Andy Charles Delp. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen (Roy Harris) and Megan (Shane Boyer); his grandchildren, Brooke, Devin Penley, Kaley, Jeremy Wheeler, Issac Wiles, Evie Evans, William Wiles and J. D. Boyer; his great grandchild Lilly Wheeler; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Delp of Independence, VA and Anita Greer of Mouth.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
