We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2023, at the age of 79, Stanley Simpson of Hurt, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glady Lee Simpson and Bessie Faris Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Wells Simpson; his children, Grant Simpson (Courtney Hudson) of Hurt and Kelly Osborne (Scott) of Hurt; his siblings, Nelson Simpson (Kathy) of Hurt and Janice Brown (Jimmy) of Hurt; his grandsons, Dylan Osborne and Brian Osborne (Morgan Owen); and his son-in-law Kelly (Scott Osborne).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to any local fire department, or to Altavista Church of Christ, 1301 Avondale Drive, Altavista, VA 24517.
