He is survived by: his father Robert Monroe, Sr.; his fiancé Jalissa Rosser; his children, Vincent Carter of Gretna, Serenity Monroe of Gretna, Zion Rosser of Gretna, Natasha "Nikki" Monroe of Greensboro and Talandis Monroe of Gladys, Virginia; his siblings, Robert Monroe, Jr. (Carolyn) of Danbury, Jeffery Monroe of Danbury, Timothy Monroe (Geneva) of Altavista, Virginia, Barbara Jordan (Herman) of Gretna, Lucy Davis (Minister Ocie) of Gretna and Patricia Monroe of Dallas, Texas; his grandchildren, Evan, Eryn Carter, Nai, Layah Monroe and Anahlia Warley; his nephews, Rodney Jordan, Nakia "Kojak" Davis and Rayquan Stone; and his uncles, Morgan Monroe and George Harris. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
