She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Douglas Jacobs and Letha Tuck Jacobs Shields; her husband Douglas Thomas Brewer, Sr.; and her brothers, Isaac "Ike" Jacobs and Billie Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Thomas Brewer, Jr. of Hurt and Karen Worley (Sam) of Gretna; her sister Sandra Ferrell (Larry) of Hurt; her grandchildren, Crystal Grubbs (Jason) of Gretna, Bo Worley (Megan) of Gretna, Holly Brewer of Altavista and Amber Brewer of Altavista; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Jared, Chandler, Brantley, Cassadee, Preslee and Delilah.
