She was predeceased by: her father Louis Adkins; and her great-nephew Jasper Cook. She is survived by: her mother Ola Marie Barbour Adkins of Gretna; her siblings, David Adkins (Betty) of Chatham and Debra Ferrell (Steve Montgomery) of Gretna; her nieces, Melody Cook (Robby) of Penhook, Patty Jo Overby of Midland, NC and Kayla Newton-Foster (Krista) of Danville; her great-nephews, Riggins Cook and Kaspian Cook; and her close friends, Kirk, Marie Gibson, Kenda Jacobs, Julie Kelley, Judy Hicks, Debra Wood, Ginger Ramsey and Polly Rigney.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
