It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen Crowder of Hurt, Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Otis Wilson Crowder; his wife Dana Finch Crowder; and his son Richard "Rick" Crowder. He is survived by: his significant other Kimberly "Kim" Shelton of Hurt; his daughter Kimberly "Kim" Crowder Wood (Bobby) of Amherst; his grandchildren, Mallory Dana Wood of Amherst and Travis James Wood (Casey) of Concord; and his close friends, Greg and Angie Russell.
