He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Clifton Covington, Sr. and Sadie Jordan Covington. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Roberts Covington; his children, Mark Covington (Teresa) of Hurt, Gary Covington (Kristi Meacham) of Alexandria and Sheerie Ayres (Joe) of Goochland; and his siblings, Aaron Covington of Lynchburg, Judson Covington of Lynchburg, Tommy Covington (Elaine) of Richmond and Bonnie Bohannon (James) of Appomattox. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
