He was predeceased by: his mother Jeanette Weatherford Shelton. He is survived by: his father Bobby "Bob" Neal Shelton of Hurt; his wife Pamela Barker Shelton; his children, Ryan Shelton (Cammie) of Hurt, Zachary Shelton (Alicia) of Wasilla, AK and Kara Terry (Tommy) of Elizabeth City, NC; his grandmother Alma Strange Weatherford of Danville; his sister Belinda Seamster (Jim) of Richmond; and his grandchildren, Rorie Shelton, Abigail Terry, Piper Terry, Logan Shelton and Lucas Shelton. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to Hurt Volunteer Fire Department, 203 School Rd. Hurt, VA 24563.
