It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Tardy of Hurt, Virginia, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Tardy and Willianna Stone Tardy; his son Leroy Tardy, Jr.; and his brothers, Richard, George and Martel Tardy.
He is survived by: his brother Robert Tardy of Hurt, Virginia; his nephew Richard Tardy, Jr. (Elverleen) of Hurt, Virginia; his sister-in-law Lula Tardy of Hurt, Virginia; and his friends, Pete Hunt and Michelle Waller. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Abundant Life Ministries (234 Lee Ave, Hurt, VA 24563). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 9673 Blue Ridge Dr, Hurt, VA 24563. A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at the Abundant Life Ministries Cemetery (234 Lee Ave, Hurt, VA 24563).
