He was predeceased by: his siblings, Clarence "C. D." Davis Burnette and Peggy Burnette Byrd. He is survived by: his parents, William "Bill" Christopher Burnette and Virginia Louise Stevens Burnette; his wife Dorothy Fitzgerald Burnette; and his siblings, John "Johnny" Walker Burnette, Nancy Burnette Blanks and Brenda Burnette Winn. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews as a humorous and fun loving uncle.
