Kenneth Taylor Saunders Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Taylor Saunders of Hurt, Virginia, who passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Kenneth Taylor farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kenneth Taylor is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Taylor Saunders and Irma Milam Saunders; and his wife Elizabeth Ann Taylor Saunders. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Wayne Saunders of Hurt, Tim Saunders of Hurt and Elizabeth Simpson (Ricky) of Altavista; and his friend Nancy Edwards of Danville. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church Cemetery (10164 E Gretna Rd, Gretna, VA 24557).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
