She was predeceased by: her parent Alzator Goard Monroe; her husband John E. "Buck" Pannell; her children, John L. Claytor and Gloria J. Payne; and her brother Albert Goard.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy P. Davis (Phillip) of Hurt, Virginia, Ezra Pannell (Teresa) of Rustburg, Jerome Pannell (Sheryl) of Midlothian and David Pannell (Ingrid) of Augsburg, Germany; and her friends, Joyce Berger, Stella Myers and Careloton Rosser. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
