It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph James Ohlert of Hurt, Virginia, born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo John Ohlert and Korona "Kitty" Auer Ohlert; his siblings, Jerome Ohlert (Kim) and Patricia Untiedt (Jon); and his daughter Kendall.
He is survived by: his siblings, Christine May, Daniel Ohlert and Mark Ohlert; his former wife Mary Hetzel; his daughters, Lindsay, Kenyeh and Sooky; his grandchildren, Kenmyana, Myshadi, Kryation, Reyzon, Dysani, Aedury, Easiyah, Divyne, Warriyor, Lyon and Essynce; his former wife Paula Bruce; his grandchildren, Felicia, Tiffany and Logan; and his nieces and nephews, Marin Untiedt, William Untiedt and Landon Winkler.
