He was predeceased by: his parents, John Daniel Faris and Alice Simpson Faris; and his siblings, Curtis Faris, Irvin Faris, Willard, Lillard, Dorothy Myers, Dottie Nance and Delma Rowland.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Haynes Faris; his children, Todd Faris of Gretna and April Faris-West (Jamie) of Cary, NC; his sister Ruby Barbour (Jerry) of Hurt; and his grandson Hunter Faris of Gretna.
