He is survived by: his sisters, Angie Russell (Greg) of Altavista and Kim Shelton (Owen) of Hurt; and his nieces and nephews, James Paul Shelton, Adam Russell (Kathryn), Ethan Russell (Melissa), Janna Meadows (Austin) and Morgan Gatewood (Josh). He is also survived by aunts and uncles; special great-nieces and great-nephews; and his baby dog.
