She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Payne Reynolds and Mary Elizabeth Maddox Reynolds; her husband Herbert Quention Lanier; her son Herbert "Buck" Garland Lanier; and her siblings, Johnny Reynolds, Jesse Reynolds, Willie Reynolds, Junior Reynolds, James Reynolds, Annie Ferris, Sadie Kersey, Dorothy McClelland and Alice Day.
She is survived by: her grandson Daniel Lanier (Erin) of Hurt; her great grandchildren, Quenton Lanier and Oakley Lanier; her niece Dalphine Waller of Altavista; and her close friend Krissy Neal of Altavista.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John Pentecostal Holiness Church, 6497 Dews Road, Hurt, VA 24563.
