He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol "Eva" Dudley Peake (Willard) and Robert S. Roark, Jr.; his siblings, Tommy Roark and Nancy Moore; and his niece Sabrina Haskins.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Bailess Roark; his children, Jamie Roark Hart and Jason Roark (Sharon); his brother Terrell Peake (Faye); his siblings-in-law, Frances Shelton (Larry), Johnny Bailess (Pauline) and David Bailess (Delores); his nieces and nephews, Tony Roark, Danita Roark, Phillip Roark, Karen Patrick (Broderick) and Mandy Ferguson (Johnny); and his friend Tommy Neal (Janet). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Centra Hospice, 2097 Langhorne Rd. Lynchburg, VA 24501 or to New Beginnings Baptist Church, 1874 Lynch Mill Road, Altavista, VA 24517.
