With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Odell Andrews of Hurt, Virginia, who passed away on December 2, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mark Andrews and Mattie Reynolds Andrews; his wife Nancy Farmer Andrews; and his siblings, Cedric Andrews, Bill Andrews, Joe Andrews, Jackie Andrews, Anna Meadows and Minnie Parker.
He is survived by: his partner Terecia Hamlett of Hurt; his children, Rev. Jason Andrews (Jessica) of Gretna and Teresa Wyatt (Barry) of Gretna; his sister Arlene Bowling of Gretna; his grandchildren, Jacob Wyatt (Maria), Meghan Pingilley (Jonathan), Rebecca Andrews, Emily Andrews, Marie Andrews and Noah Andrews; and his great grandchildren, Eli Pingilley, Charlee Marie Pingilley, Luca Wyatt and Liam Andrew Wyatt.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Summersett Baptist Church, Zion United Methodist Church or to The Gideons International.
