It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert William Crews of Hurt, Virginia, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thomas Crews and Rosa Short Crews; his wife Leona Swain Crews; and his siblings, Giles Crews, Clarence Crews, James Crews, Clyde Crews, Virginia Tucker and Helen Fisher.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Queener; and his granddaughters, Abbie and Amy Queener.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.
