She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Thomas Adams and Lena Shelton Adams; her husband Thomas Walker Almond; her son Mark Dennis Almond; her grandson Dwayne Edward Mitchell; her brothers, Buddy Adams, Bobby Adams, Billy Adams and Roy Neal Adams; her son-in-law Daryl Edward Mitchell; her siblings-in-law, Charles Vaden Blair, Sr. and Olivia T. Adams; and her great great grandchild Lilianna Grace Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard Almond (Pattie) of Altavista, Carol Lambert (Wayne) of Hurt, Sandra Krantz (Paul Jasiewicz) of Gretna and Shelby Mitchell of Gladys; her sister Mary Blair of Lynchburg; her daughter-in-law Virginia Almond of Gretna; and her sisters-in-law, Lottie Adams, Lucille Adams and Jerri Adams. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
