He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Witt Gregory, Sr. and Nolie Virginia Worley Gregory; his sons, Larry Gregory, Sr. and Wesley Gregory; and his siblings, Virginia Gregory, Ruby Adkins, Leona Scott, Jenny Robertson, Sylvia Sydnor, Earl Gregory, D. W. Gregory, Jr., Nelvin Gregory, Jesse Gregory, George Gregory and Allen Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Bertie Vaden Gregory; his children, James Gregory of Hurt, Charlie Gregory, Jr. of Hurt, Mark Gregory, Sr. (Kelli) of Gretna, Darryl Gregory (Nicole) of Lynch Station, Nolie "Jill" Conner (Gregory) of Union Hall and Joanna Young (Kevin) of Roanoke; and his brother Norman Cecil Gregory (Susan) of Roanoke. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way, and two great-great-grandchildren.
