He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Rigney and Viola Huff Rigney; and his brother Junior Rigney. He is survived by: his sisters, Hilda Hogan of Danville, Frances Lawrence of Penhook and Ritha Gammon of Danville; his nephew Dale Rigney (Joy) of Danville; and his close friend Jean E. Chumley of Hurt.
