She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Edward Wiley; her parents, William Edgar Farmer and Frances Alberta East Farmer; her granddaughter Amanda Dawn Watkins; and her brother Truman Garfield "Chuck" Farmer.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Caldwell, David Quesenberry (Amy), Eddie Quesenberry (Marie), Missy Westmoreland (Ricky) and Gary Wiley; and her siblings, Eddie Farmer (Joyce), Rocky Farmer (Doris), Bonnie Cox (High Pockets) and Debbie Hancock (Kenny). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty's memory to St. Jude's Children's hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
