He is survived by: his wife Angela Adams Motley Rice; his children, Tally Updike (Ben), James Gregory (Jasmine), Richard Gregory (Gelsey) and Benjamin Gregory; his sister Kaye Wilson (Alfred); his cousin Dr. Don Carwile; and his grandchildren, Audrey, Gabe, Isaiah, Jameson, John and Adrianna.
