With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Lynn Ramey of Hurley, Virginia, born in Grundy, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2024 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Colley Thornsbury and Hazel Thornsbury (Dotson); her husband C. A. Ramey; her son Channing Ramey; and her sisters, Nancy Dazell and Imogene Justus.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Cooper of Hurley, VA, Corey Cooper (Kristy) of Hurley, VA, Byron Cooper of Phelps, KY, Chelsea Ramey of Hurley, VA, Chandler Ramey (Hanna) of Conaway, VA and Colley Daniels (Toni Hall) of Hurley, VA; and her sisters, Shirley Hendricks (Jack), Brenda Sue Coleman and Karen Collier (Duran).
