He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Shortridge and Opal Sullivan Shortridge; his daughter Stephanie Shortridge; his siblings, Phyllis Hunt, Joann Steffi, Roger Shortridge, Pete Shortridge and Dean Shortridge; and his grandson Dalton Mullins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Shortridge of Richmond, VA and Deanna Shortridge of Grundy, VA; and his sisters, Kathy Blankenship of Hurley, VA., Sharon Hurley of Hurley, VA. and Shirley Shortridge of Hurley, VA.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
