He is survived by: his parents, William Francis Ling II and Melda Jean Ling (Akers) of Hurley, VA.; his son William Francis Ling III of Hurley, VA; and his siblings, William Michael Ling (Helen Stiltner) of Vansant, VA, Jimmy Dean Ling (Chris) of Grundy, VA, Ava Diane Justus of Grundy, VA and Susan Billings (Barry) of North Wilkesboro, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
