He is survived by: his stepchildren, Heather Dotson (Ronnie Carter) of Grundy, VA, Larry Dotson Jr. (Renee Stiltner) of Dank, VA and Joshua (Heather Dotson); his grandchildren, Adrianna Slone, Kinley Duty, Natalie Gibson, Rylee McClanahan and Ella McClanahan; his stepgrandchildren, Lucas Bandy, Madeline Dotson, Kyler Brookman, Nicholas Dotson, Ariana Dotson, Noah Dotson, Amelia Dotson, Olivia Dotson and Peyton Dotson; and his sisters, Margarette (Larry Mullins), Betty Wolford, Melissa Conklin, Peggy (Sonny Charles), Patricia Whitt and Connie McClanahan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
