In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Wilbur Coles had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Wilbur Coles may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Holmes Bay and Ethelyn Burroughs; his siblings, Glenn and Rosalyn; and his daughter Deborah.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Anne of Deltaville; his children, Cindy and Wilbur Coles Burroughs II (Bill); and his daughter-in-law Marianne. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home (160 Main St, Mathews, VA 23109).
